DREAM – as it is known in Japan, or Dream MMA as the rest of the world calls it is a mixed martials art organisation that is set up by former PRIDE and K-1 promoters and executives.
Given the connection to PRIDE it is no surprise to see a lot of the same entertaining flourishes and personnel also being used – if nothing else these boys know how to put on a show.
Dream has 7 weight classes. Unlike Hero’s, each weight class will have a champion with a defendable title.

When the UFC officially announced its return to the Asian market with a press conference in Japan, two of the area’s biggest promotions announced that they would team up to increase their visibility and bolster their star power.
DREAM and ONE Fighting Championship have declared an intention to co-promote events and exchange fighters between them, the heads of both promotions announced on Monday.
